Trucks back up the ramp and dump there coal into the hopper
A conveyor moves the coal to the head
At the head coal is dumped left or right depending on how the gate is
set

The screen has been narrowed so the front track can be used as a through
line
The tipple loads on the running line. This is viable in the USA where
train frequencies were lower than the UK's.
