The Mid-Suffolk Light Railway planned to build a 50-mile network with a 'mainline' from Haughley to Hallsworth and a branch from Bedingfield to Westerfield. In practise all that was built was the 'mainline' from Haughley but only as far as Laxfield 9 miles short of Hallsworth. I've assumed the Mid-Suffolk Light Railway was competed and survived into early dieselisation day with the branch to Westerfield operated by railbus, a daily mixed, and shunting locos handling the goods traffic mostly sand and gravel.

Panoramas of the layout
A four wheel railbus handles most of the passenger traffic.
The first move is a stop at the platform to let the passengers disembark
Next is back up to the loop and run round
The break van is moved to the front
The out bound wagon collected
The two inbound wagons moved to the goods siding
Outbound wagons are left just past the platform
The coach is run round and pushed to the platform
The mixed is off
The first move is to clear Ipswich Sand and Gravel
The next move is to collect the outbound coal wagon
and replace it with the inbound coal wagon
The van is replaced whence it was
Ipswich Sand and gravel pump sand out of the sand pit
run it up an Archimedes screw to remove dirt and water which are returned to the
pit
the clean sand is dumped into the hopper then dumped into wagons.
Wagons are move using a chain and winch
so inbound wagons are spotted (parked) one under the bunker and two in front of
the bunker
when the loading cycle is complete one wagon is under the bunker and two behind.
