Railcar

Passenger services are largely run by a railcar

Mixed

The mixed is the last steam worked passenger train and is hauled by a J15

Mixed trains are much liked by modellers as they give good shunting
opportunities

I suspect railway management and passengers are much less happy with mixed

Running round - up against the buffers

The mixed departs

Goods
The basic goods service is worked by a class 03

It runs to Stiffkey in the early morning, shunts, and departs in the late
afternoon

The morning goods arrives and the 03 runs round

The 03 shunts the yard

Positioning the aggregate wagons

And moving them when required

Dropping off the coal wagon and vans for washed sand

The 03 departs

Additional goods trains are hauled by the J15

Running round

The J15 leaves with a full train

The 03 moves the wagons to McLeod's
